Job Description

The Regional Sales Director – Strategic Markets will be responsible for building and managing global sales and a large number of strategic partners. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this executive will be responsible for driving exponential growth in a rapidly-evolving industry. The successful candidate must be an energetic executive who can work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and has experience with consultative sales with an in depth knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Data Centre, Cloud Services and Enterprise Level Tech Support and Solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plans and directs strategic international aspects of the organization’s sales policies, objectives, and initiatives for strategic regions and accounts
  • Develops the sales plan to fulfil the growth and revenue goals of the organization • Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of an organization’s services
  • Manages strategic aspects of the sales function including customer service teams and marketing
  • As a member of the Executive Leadership Team plays an active part in setting the strategic direction of the company, and develops and executes plans for such
  • Increases market share in existing markets and maximizes new business opportunities
  • Achieves targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth
  • Develops budgets and monitor performance to ensure annual budgets are reached
  • Leads, develops and coaches the sales and pre‐sales departments to ensure a cohesive team aligned with the company interest

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Super excellent communication skills & charismatic
  • Strong sales management/leadership/negotiation skills
  • Business numeracy and acumen
  • Effective management of time and resources
  • Regional and International exposure is a must
  • Excellent tertiary qualifications anticipated
  • Proven track record building and leading a sales team
