Basis Bay at the British High Commission AI Mission Networking 2018
Kuala Lumpur, 24 October 2018 – Artificial Intelligence (AI) has cemented its place as a catalyst for business transformation. The UK has an impressive track record in the development and deployment of AI applications worldwide, including in Malaysia and ASEAN. Today with enterprises demanding cutting-edge technology solutions to compete successfully for the superior customer experience, AI is even more business critical.
A Networking Reception for the AI Mission 2018 organised by the British High Commission Kuala Lumpur saw leading technology and private sector organisations come together to engage in a discussion to drive opportunities for AI deployment. With a view to enabling more businesses to embark on their digitalisation journey, the mission’s mandate was to encourage collaboration between UK and Malaysian technology companies.
Mr. T. Rajan, Chief Executive Officer of Infrastructure & Data Centre, Basis Bay, a leading provider of Sustainable Cloud and IT Infrastructure Services, and the current Malaysian Data Centre Alliance (MDCA) Chairman represented the Malaysian industry at the closed door networking session which was held at the British High Commissioner’s Residence.
Hosted by the British High Commissioner, Her Excellency Vicki Treadell and HM Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, Natalie Black, the event saw between 30 to 40 companies from the UK and Malaysia share ideas and explore opportunities to connect and share notes in AI collaboration.
